A resistive safety edge consists of a ribbon switch inside a durable rubber housing. This is mounted directly onto your door using a plastic or aluminium channel.
If the edge encounters an obstruction, the rubber housing deforms, causing the ribbon conductive cores to short-circuit and stop the door. When used with the Easyglide control Panels the rubber will stop the door and can be programmed reopen by 100mm.
